Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance applications using Python
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Design and optimize data models and databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or NoSQL databases
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
Implement application security, performance optimization, and scalability best practices
Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies , including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Support unit testing, integration testing, and UAT
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines , deployments, and cloud-based environments
Stay current with evolving Python technologies and industry trends
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on experience as a Python Developer
Strong expertise in Python (3.x) and object-oriented programming
Extensive experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance tuning
Proficiency with Git and version control systems
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience supporting enterprise-scale or US-based client applications is highly preferred
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools
Experience with data processing, ETL, or data pipelines
Familiarity with AI/ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
