Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks (coding, categorization, monthly clean-up)
Pay bills, process reimbursements, and manage vendor payments
Reconcile credit cards, bank accounts, and expense platforms
Track budgets and prepare simple monthly financial summaries
Assist with 1099s, annual filings, and record-keeping
Verify commissions, stipends, and bonus payouts for accuracy
Support hiring and onboarding, including offer paperwork and new-hire setup
Assist with offboarding and employee separations in coordination with leadership
Maintain employee records, personnel files, and organizational documentation
Coordinate payroll submissions and employee classification (W-2 / 1099)
Help manage HR compliance, deadlines, and required filings
Assist with insurance administration (health, workers’ comp, liability, renewals)
Serve as a steady HR point of contact for routine employee questions
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (small business preferred)
Comfortable with QuickBooks and basic financial reporting
Organized, trustworthy, and detail-driven
Familiarity with payroll and HR admin is a plus (not required)
Someone who enjoys structure and consistency over strategy decks
Real Estate Experience preferable but not required
