QA Engineer - E-commerce
Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer-eCommerce to join their team and enhance the quality and reliability of their web applications. This role involves end-to-end web testing and support for mobile app testing, ensuring a high-quality user experience through collaboration with product managers and developers.

Responsibilities
Partner with product managers and developers to review user stories, refine acceptance criteria, and produce test cases and supporting test documentation aligned with requirements
Apply structured test design techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and pairwise testing to maximize coverage with efficiency
Drive high-quality user experience by integrating accessibility (A11Y) tools, browser developer tools, and cross-browser testing practices into daily workflows
Perform API testing using Postman and write SQL queries to validate data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and support test validation
Support mobile testing efforts as needed, using tools such as Charles Proxy (network inspection and rewriting), ADB, and iOS crash logs for issue investigation
Qualification
Required
Proven experience testing customer-facing web applications, preferably in an eCommerce or high-traffic environment
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes across the SDLC
Experience in creating test cases, test plans, and test documentation based on business and technical requirements
Hands-on experience applying structured test design techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, pairwise testing)
Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing principles
Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman
Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and troubleshoot issues
Familiarity with accessibility (A11Y) testing tools and standards (e.g., WCAG guidelines, screen readers, automated accessibility scanners)
Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document defects and test outcomes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
3–5+ years of QA experience focused primarily on web applications
Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end testing for features or releases
Experience supporting mobile testing in addition to web testing is a plus
Preferred
WebDriver with Java – Experience contributing to UI automation frameworks
Google Analytics – Ability to validate tracking implementation and data accuracy
JMeter – Experience with performance and load testing for web systems
