AirezIQ is seeking an experienced Part-Time Network Administrator / Security Operations Specialist to help secure and professionalize their internal systems as they scale their AIREZ platform across enterprise and government customers. The role involves auditing current systems, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and GovCon standards.

Responsibilities

Audit and harden internal network operations across cloud and SaaS tools
Implement and enforce MFA standards company-wide
Support SOC 2 readiness and evidence collection
Secure and administer:
Google Workspace
AWS environments
Slack
Password managers (LastPass, 1Password, etc.)
Clean up identity access and offboarding procedures
Establish least-privilege access controls
Maintain asset and system inventories
Support GovCon security posture (NIST alignment, documentation readiness)
Assist with audit requests and remediation plans
Document policies, SOPs, and security controls
Partner with leadership on long-term IT/security strategy

Qualification

Required

Proven experience as a Network Admin, Systems Admin, or Security Ops role
Hands-on SOC 2 preparation or audit support
Strong IAM / MFA implementation experience
Cloud security experience (AWS preferred)
Google Workspace administration expertise
Familiarity with GovCon or regulated environments
Experience with password vaulting platforms
Excellent documentation habits
Able to pass a background check
Willing to sign an NDA
Comfortable working in a 25–40 person organization
Interested in a long-term role with growth potential
