Responsibilities
Provide WCAG 2.1 AA testing and remediation for Sitecore Content Management Solution site and content
Work independently under MDCR direction and prioritization following e-Michigan web content standards
Remediate digital content including PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Images
Structure documents, tag content, add alt text, and establish logical reading orders
Qualification
Required
3+ years of working experience with ADA remediation
Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA Guidelines
3+ years of experience with Sitecore Content Management Solution
Experience with ADA testing tools
In depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA Guidelines
Accessibility testing to ensure conformance to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, specifically with WCAG 2.1 AA
Experience with development and maintenance of web solutions using Sitecore CMS
Ability to conform to the State of Michigan (SOM) Look & Feel Standards
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
Strong background with ADA Remediation of digital content including PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Images and Reports on multiple formats
Key actions involve structuring documents, tagging content, adding alt text, and establishing logical reading orders
Good communication both verbal and written
