Compensation Manager

LHH is seeking a Compensation Manager who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation programs aligned with organizational goals. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations while supporting talent acquisition and retention strategies.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain base pay and variable compensation programs (including merit cycles, incentive plans, and bonus structures)
Lead job evaluations, market pricing, and the development and maintenance of salary structures
Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices
Manage the annual compensation review process, including merit increases, promotions, and incentive payouts
Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to support competitive and equitable compensation recommendations
Provide guidance to managers and leadership on compensation strategy, policy interpretation, and offer decisions
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA, Pay Transparency, EEO)
Lead or participate in compensation-related projects, such as pay equity analyses, system upgrades, or organizational transitions
Maintain relationships with external compensation survey providers and consultants
Develop and deliver compensation training and communications for HR teams and leaders

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus
7+ years of progressive compensation experience, including team leadership
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
Solid understanding of compensation principles, labor laws, and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience with job architecture frameworks, pay structures, or global compensation programs is a plus
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) strongly preferred
