Responsibilities

Own front-of-meter solar and BESS projects end-to-end, from origination and site control through NTP
Lead land negotiations (leases, options, easements, title curatives) within internal approval frameworks
Serve as the primary external representative to landowners, municipalities, and community stakeholders
Navigate zoning, permitting, and discretionary approvals in complex jurisdictions
Drive cross-functional execution with Engineering, Finance, Development Ops, and Leadership
Own project-level budgets, schedules, and value forecasts, optimizing economics and risk
Make disciplined go / no-go decisions based on return, risk, and strategic fit
Prepare projects for buyer diligence, financing, or capital partner handoff
Travel regularly within active development markets as needed

Required

5+ years' experience in energy or infrastructure project development
Proven experience advancing projects through complex development pathways
Strong grounding in land use, zoning, permitting, and interconnection
Commercial fluency — experience managing development budgets and project economics
Real-estate competence (contracts, title, site control)
High-ownership mentality with accountability for outcomes, not tasks
Confident, clear communicator able to lead through influence
Willingness to travel and engage face-to-face to move projects forward
