Responsibilities
Lead solution engineering efforts for project-based initiatives, delivering well-defined and scoped Cisco Voice environment implementations in alignment with client requirements and overall project objectives
Provide End-User Training and support for voice devices and systems
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing
Monitor voice network performance and implement improvements as needed
Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and backups to maintain optimal performance and security
Collaborate with Network, security, and systems teams to ensure seamless integration of voice solutions with data networks
Troubleshoot and resolve voice-related incidents, including call quality issues and system outages
Configure and Support Cisco IP Telephony devices, including phones, gateways, and voice routers
Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, and related voice applications
Qualification
Required
Understanding of LAN/WAN networking fundamentals with voice systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting voice networks, including Qos, dial plans, and call routing
Hands-on experience with SIP, H.323, MGCP Protocols, and VoIP
Strong Working Knowledge and experience working with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Cisco Voice Gateways
3+ Years of experience working with Cisco Voice Solutions in medium to large enterprise environments
Preferred
Past experience with defining project scopes and plan
Past experience working for an MSP is helpful
CCNA, CCNP, or other Cisco Certifications strongly preferred
