New Grad, Entry LevelVelcro Companies is seeking a Utility Expeditor to maintain workflow by ensuring operators are stocked with necessary materials. The role involves inventory management, operating equipment, and promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
Promotes a culture of safety within the organization by leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety
Promptly reports any safety incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and contributes to the investigation process
Active participation in safety-related programs and initiatives is required as necessary. This includes involvement in the safety committee on a rotating schedule, as well as participation in Risk Assessments, Exposure Hunts, department inspections, and change management activities
Supply operators with necessary materials in order maintain machine uptime capability
Utilize schedule and have knowledge of WIP material flow
Package and move finished product from one operation to the next
Operate core-cutting equipment
Operate pallet jacks
Operate automatic box sealer
Verify finished product to specification
Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly manner
Process customer returns
Make Cross-Wound spools for slitters and blockers
Repackage customer returns
Enter WIP moves into the computer system
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Full time presence required
Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested
Excellent attendance required
Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends
Additional tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret written instruction
Complete basic paperwork
Perform data entry
Good dexterity and hand eye coordination
High school diploma or GED
