Responsibilities
Serve as support liaison between Health System operating entities, divisions, product lines, other finance departments, management, and external customers to ensure prompt resolution of issues, accuracy of financial information, and timely reporting
Responsible for the policy development and implementation related to modifications to the general ledger structure
Maintain effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and integrity of all financial records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and internal regulations and policies
Oversight of the monthly and year-end analysis of third-party contractual allowances and reserves, supervises the maintenance of the Crowe RCA system for hospital and physician entities, and provides contractual allowance data for budget and year-end audits
Prepare monthly financial and CFO reports for the Finance Committees and the Board of Trustees
Processes monthly expenditures and encumbrances related to the grants
Responsible for the maintenance of the BH Corporate fixed assets records
Collaborates with Risk Management to prepare the annual budget
Prepare annual Forms 1120, 990T, 990, and PC
Determines accounting treatment for new joint ventures and strategic partnerships, assesses monthly valuations and tax implications, and monitors financial performance
Prepare monthly financial statements for all BH entities (except HNE)
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree
Certified Public Accountant
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical capability
Microsoft suite proficiency
General Ledger system proficiency
