The role focuses on maintaining compliant and efficient lab environments in a GxP setting, supporting day-to-day laboratory operations, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Managing instrument lifecycle activities such as scheduling preventive maintenance, calibration, equipment onboarding, qualification, decommissioning, and documentation maintenance
Performing chamber cleanouts, defrosts, and equipment/reagent moves
Overseeing laboratory organization, safety, housekeeping, and maintaining audit readiness and documentation
Coordinating and hosting vendor visits and service activities, supporting internal and external operations and service teams to ensure compliant and timely lab operations
Supporting laboratory audits, quality assurance, and GxP equipment management activities
Scheduling and executing preventive maintenance and calibration activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with at least 2 years of industry laboratory experience, or a Master's degree with at least 1 year of related industry laboratory experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently in a cross-functional, customer-focused environment
Minimum experience in three laboratory operations activities (e.g., instrument management, chamber management, lab safety, vendor interaction, or quality assurance)
Experience working in a GxP environment
Ability to drive completion of activities in a timely manner
Industry experience (not only academic)
Demonstrated capacity to coordinate with internal and external teams
Preferred
Experience with electronic laboratory notebook (ELN), Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet's
Familiarity with Maximo
Prior experience in Pharma, Research, or Biotech sectors
Excellent interpersonal skills supporting collaboration and compliance efforts in laboratory operations
