Responsibilities

Perform daily accounting activities including account reconciliations, journal entries, and transaction reviews
Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Review and process invoices, expenses, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance
Conduct financial and operational analysis; prepare reports and dashboards for management review
Analyze trends, variances, and anomalies to support decision-making
Support ad-hoc analysis requests from Finance and Operations leadership
Maintain and improve inventory control systems to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable data
Partner with Operations to reconcile inventory movements, variances, and adjustments
Support audits and controls related to inventory, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing transactions
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT on system enhancements and initiatives
Stay current on accounting standards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial analysis
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)
Experience working with accounting or ERP systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred

Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-driven environment
Exposure to GAAP (IFRS knowledge a plus)
Experience with reporting or data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce, or Smartsheet
CPA or CMA (or progress toward certification)
Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
