OC Writ & Return Clerk
NEOGOV is seeking an OC Writ & Return Clerk to support the Sheriff’s Office. The role involves processing civil filings, maintaining financial records, and ensuring the timely handling of returned documents.

Responsibilities
Receive and process civil complaints, writs, and PFA filings submitted for service within Delaware County
Time-stamp documents and ensure all information on Sheriff’s Office forms is accurate and complete
Enter invoices into RESA and forward completed paperwork to the Civil Division daily
Scan and process all returned documents from writ deputies and forward them to the appropriate authority
Serve as Cashier for all departmental invoices and payments
Verify accuracy of invoice figures and prepare required totals
Complete the Cashier Summary Sheet in RESA, listing totals for various accounts, and forward to the Financial Clerk
Prepare bank deposit slips and all necessary documentation for delivery to the Treasurer’s Office
Perform related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
U.S. citizen and resident of Delaware County for at least two (2) years prior to appointment
One (1) to two (2) years of office experience
Moderate typing proficiency
Ability to work with numerical data and maintain accurate financial totals
Basic computer skills
