Responsibilities
Build and maintain Python data ingestion pipelines handling large-scale vehicle, camera, and LiDAR data
Optimize data uploads to AWS S3 under bandwidth constraints
Improve and maintain queuing/orchestration logic for data transfer and processing
Develop backend APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and SQL-backed metrics systems
Build simple web-based dashboards to navigate, filter, and tag data (digital asset management)
Use AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda) for automation, metadata, and processing
Collaborate closely with researchers and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Strong Python (data pipelines, services)
Strong SQL (Postgres/MySQL)
AWS experience (S3, EC2; Lambda preferred)
Backend API development (FastAPI/Flask)
Basic frontend/dashboard experience (React, Plotly, Vega)
3–5 years of relevant experience (2+ years with strong projects considered)
Strong communication & collaboration
Customer-service mindset, polished and personable
Self-starter, proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented
Preferred
ML experiment tracking, data lineage/provenance
Workflow orchestration frameworks
