Responsibilities
Designs, implements, and maintains secure campus-wide network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and WAN-connected sites
Provides expertise in network security, capacity planning, and technology evaluation
Mentors junior engineers and ensures compliance with industry standards
Coordinates with cross-functional teams and participates in on-call rotations and network change windows
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional experience within IT
3+ years of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing and Cisco network configuration
2+ years with Cisco ACI, SDN, and network virtualization
Experienced in network automation with Python/Perl and tools like Ansible or Puppet
Experienced in network security, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools (Solarwinds, AKIPS)
