Responsibilities
Develop, document, and execute component- and system-level hardware tests
Operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, electronic loads, and environmental test equipment
Create test setups using block diagrams, BOMs, and detailed test plans
Design and build custom test assets such as load simulators and test harnesses
Develop and maintain Python scripts for test automation and data collection
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to support test infrastructure needs
Author and present Test Plans, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Data Review
Review and contribute to documentation related to standards, design releases, and risk assessment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of relevant professional experience
2+ years of experience in electronics development
Experience testing electronic systems in automotive, aerospace, or vehicle-related environment
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as environmental chambers, oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, spectrum analyzers, and electronic load
Experience with PCBA design tools (Altium preferred)
Experience with 3D modeling tools (3DEXPERIENCE or CATIA preferred)
Proficiency with Ubuntu/Linux environments and Python scripting
Preferred
Ethernet switching chipsets (Broadcom, Marvell), PCIe, and CAN compliance
Simulation tools (ANSYS preferred)
Common bus protocols such as SPI, I2C, and MDI
Data acquisition systems (UEI and/or Keysight preferred)
Requirements and test-case management tools (Polarion preferred)
Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
