Responsibilities
Use equal parts skill and vision to create an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency
Coordinate front end and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience
Ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements
Mentor teammates and guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques
Identify and implement system improvements
Collaborate with a development team to build applications and tools with a user-centric design
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in UI/UX development
Experience in HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, and React
Knowledge of backend technologies and RESTful APIs
Ability to design and develop responsive, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering field and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Preferred
Experience optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to translate requirements into functional UI/UX solutions
Experience ensuring consistency in design patterns and maintaining design systems
Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
