Mechanical/Electrical CAD Designer
Test Logic, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of test equipment for turbine engines, gearboxes, and other aviation components. They are seeking a Mechanical/Electrical CAD Designer to design test systems with input from senior engineering staff, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to CAD standards.

Responsibilities
Utilizing AutoCAD Electrical/Mechanical in 2D and 3D aspects
Support the development of CAD standards and standard electrical details
Knowledgeable about National Electrical Code NFPA 70 and electrical design
Create system schematics, panel layout design, and equipment layouts in rooms
Develop interconnectivity/cable/wiring diagrams
Produce instrumentation & control drawings
Meet schedule and budget requirements
Participate in the quoting process
Use MS Office Software such as Word and Excel
Qualification
Required
AutoCAD Electrical/Mechanical Utilizing 2D and 3D aspects
Supports the development of CAD standards and standard electrical details
Knowledgeable about National Electrical Code NFPA 70 and electrical design
System Schematics, Panel Layout Design, Equipment layouts in rooms
Interconnectivity/Cable/Wiring Diagrams
Instrumentation & Control Drawing
Meet Schedule and Budget requirements
Participate in the quoting process
MS Office Software such as Word and Excel
Certificate in AutoCAD Electrical and Mechanical or equivalent experience/education
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Ability to Commute: Middletown, CT 06457 (Required)
Preferred
Knowledge of Solidworks a plus
Associate (Preferred)
Entry Level to Senior Level applicant
Some Travel may be required to install new equipment and support existing installations
Phone and email support provided to customers as needed
Overtime may be required
