Stress Analyst Intern/Co-Op
Bombardier is a leading company in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance aircraft. They are seeking a Stress Analyst Intern/Co-Op to investigate design build issues, analyze structural engineering solutions, and assist in various engineering tasks related to aircraft manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Investigate design build issues and analyze structural engineering and instrumentation installation solutions
Analyze temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner
Learn about dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions. (MRB)
Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives
Help design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners
Analyze engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions
Qualification
Required
You must be able to work on ITAR programs
You must be working toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline
You must be in your Junior (3rd) year
You must have taken an introductory to CATIA V5 class or equivalent
You must have taken Structures 1
You must have a basic understanding of FEMs. NASTRAN/PATRAN and other software are a plus
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You must be a highly motivated, self-starter
You must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. All other computer systems and software are a plus
Preferred
Any aircraft or manufacturing experience is an asset
