Responsibilities
Own cost plans, commitments, forecasting, and variance analysis from early works through to final account
Evaluate change orders, manage commercial risk, support claims awareness, and enforce disciplined change control
Build and maintain master schedules, baselines, and progress logic — identifying critical path risks •before• they lead to delays
Translate real field progress into decision-ready reports that leadership can trust
Assist with the buy-out and commercial review of major trade and equipment packages, including high-value MEP systems
Qualification
Required
5+ years in commercial, cost, estimating, QS, or project controls roles within construction
Strong Excel-based forecasting and reporting skills
Contractual fluency and hands-on change management experience
Schedule tool proficiency (Primavera P6 or equivalent) for planning roles
Ability to collaborate closely with PMs and site teams without compromising control integrity
Preferred
Data center or mission-critical experience
Exposure to large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or heavy MEP projects
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Finance, or a related field
Experience managing heavy MEP packages, where equipment costs exceed civil scope
Meticulous attention to detail and the confidence to challenge data until it's accurate
