Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service to all customers including residents/tenants, staff, and guests
Serves menu items according to portion control standards
Stocks food and beverage items as assigned
Performs cleaning in the coffee shop to include equipment, work area, and seating areas
Operates all functions of the cash registers including; following proper procedures for opening and closing cash register, handling money and making correct change, utilizing credit card machine, and entering items and amounts into the POS system
Operates coffee shop equipment and safely navigates heat exposure risk near ovens and steamers
Organizes and plans work schedule to correlate with service times
Serves/organizes items for catering events
Follows food safety and sanitation protocols by ensuring that food is stored, labeled, and handled appropriately
Qualification
Required

Preferred
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required
Prefer completion of food safety and sanitation course or ability to become certified in ServSafe or similar program
