Associate Wealth Management Advisor

The Associate Wealth Management Advisor will support the Wealth Management Advisor in delivering financial advice, assist with financial planning and investment management, and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities
Client Support & Relationship Management: Assist in managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients by providing timely, high-quality service and support
Financial Planning: Support Wealth Management Advisor in creating and updating comprehensive financial plans that include investment strategies, retirement planning, insurance needs, and tax planning
Investment Management: Help monitor and rebalance client investment portfolios, conduct research on financial products, and prepare reports for client meetings
Client Onboarding: Participate in the onboarding process for new clients, including gathering necessary documentation and conducting initial financial analysis. Preparing and processing all the paperwork needed for investment and insurance accounts
Meeting Preparation & Follow-up: Assist in preparing for client meetings by compiling financial data, preparing presentations, and drafting follow-up communications
Compliance: Ensure that all client interactions and recommendations comply with regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on financial markets, investment products, and other relevant financial topics to support client recommendations
Collaboration: Work closely with Wealth Management Advisor, internal teams, and external partners to deliver exceptional client service and support business growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
2+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or related fields
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients
Proficient in financial planning software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems
A client-focused mindset with a high level of professionalism and integrity
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Life & Health insurance licenses preferred
Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent) licenses preferred or willingness to obtain
CFP® certification (or working towards it) is a plus
