Responsibilities

Receiving inbound calls from retirement plan participants looking for assistance with financial planning. You will also support investment advisory services within our call center
Making warm outbound calls to customers expressing interest in the creation of a financial advisory program
Participating in the process of setting up new accounts and maintaining accounts for customers
Recording account openings accurately and other transactions in our record keeping database
Explaining employer-based retirement plan requirements and basic IRS regulations related to 401(k) transactions to retirement plan participants
Interacting with customers for account questions and updating account information as needed. Respond to customer inquiries on related issues and troubleshoot basic technical problems. You will also provide product and service literature upon requests

Required

Series 65 or 66 required
Experience in delivering financial planning and investment advisory services
Educate callers on complex retirement and investment concepts is necessary
Experience building rapport and interpersonal skills are necessary
Utilize conceptual thinking to identify patterns, apply concepts and clarify complex information
Listen to customers to understand both articulated and unarticulated needs
Use data to persuade and influence customers to objectively guide them
Demonstrate sustained confidence and resilience during client interactions
Ask relevant probing questions to better assess customer needs
