Responsibilities
Write basic SQL queries to extract data and support investigations into Medicaid claims
Assist with reviewing and interpreting reports to assess data quality and identify potential issues
Analyze claims data to recognize trends that could indicate fraud, waste, or abuse
Apply analytical skills to help uncover and resolve simple to moderately complex fraud patterns
Collaborate with team members to assist with ongoing fraud detection and resolution tasks
Help identify areas where processes can be improved to support better fraud detection
Communicate with clients to address and manage inquiries related to operational issues
Work alongside experienced analysts, engineers, and developers to support ongoing projects and troubleshoot operational issues
Assist with general administrative tasks, including managing and documenting client interactions
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience writing SQL queries or working with data analysis
Some experience or coursework related to fraud detection, data mining, or analysis
Familiarity with healthcare data or claims processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate level)
Comfortable using common communication tools such as Teams, Outlook, and Word
Preferred
Exposure to fraud detection or healthcare-related data analysis
Basic understanding of Medicaid programs or healthcare claims
Experience with data visualization tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Familiarity with statistical analysis or basic programming is a bonus
