Demand Content Strategist
IMPLAN Group LLC is the world's most trusted economic impact modeling SAAS company. They are seeking a Demand Content Strategist who will develop and execute content strategies that generate demand and drive pipeline, while collaborating with various teams to transform insights into compelling narratives.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a content strategy aligned to business goals, buyer journeys, and pipeline targets
Translate product capabilities, customer outcomes, and market insights into clear value narratives
Build content plans that support campaigns, launches, and priority verticals—not just one-off assets
Identify, prioritize, and apply keyword and SEO best practices across content to improve discoverability, engagement, and demand impact
Embrace new technologies and tools, including AI, to work more effectively, efficiently, and creatively
Interview Product Managers to deeply understand features, roadmap priorities, and value propositions
Partner with internal subject matter experts (economists, analysts, customer teams) to surface insights and use cases
Proactively identify content opportunities based on product updates, customer trends, and market needs
Transform customer stories, case studies, and real-world use cases into multi-channel campaign strategies
Partner with Demand Gen to activate content across email, webinars, paid media, website, and sales enablement
Ensure content ladders logically across awareness, consideration, and conversion
Use performance data (engagement, conversions, pipeline influence) to inform content strategy and prioritization
Identify what’s working, what’s not, and adjust quickly
Partner with analytics and demand teams to measure impact—not just output
Proactively manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders
Communicate clearly and early when priorities shift or risks emerge
Balance strategic thinking with scrappy execution
Qualification
Required
Content strategies are proactive, aligned, and tied to demand goals
Campaigns are rooted in strong narratives and supported by data
Stakeholders trust you to own content direction
You ramp quickly, take initiative, and continuously look for ways to improve impact
Strong interviewer and listener—comfortable extracting insight from subject matter experts (SMEs)
Proven ability to connect storytelling with measurable business outcomes
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
Curious, creative, and resourceful—with a bias toward action
2–7 years of experience in content strategy, product marketing, demand marketing, or a related role
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred
Experience in B2B SaaS, data, analytics, or research-driven products
Background in journalism, research, or customer storytelling
Familiarity with SEO, lifecycle marketing, and campaign measurement
