IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and corporate applications
Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, user identity and access, device performance, and software errors
Support both office employees and manufacturing-floor users, including onsite assistance as needed
Set up and configure Windows devices, printers, user accounts, MFA/security tools, and standard business applications
Assist new hires with workstation setup and onboarding support
Perform hardware imaging and device provisioning
Provide support and assistance for ERP systems, including troubleshooting and minor enhancements
Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Participate in system rollouts, upgrades, and implementation projects
Log, track, and resolve support tickets in accordance with defined SLAs
Maintain accurate technical documentation, device lifecycle records, and asset inventory
Identify recurring issues and escalate trends to the IT team to drive long-term solutions
Assist with basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Support routine IT maintenance and operational initiatives
Contribute to continuous improvement of IT support processes and standards
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required

1–4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or service desk roles
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems
Hands-on experience with basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
Ability to support manufacturing-floor technology and work onsite as needed
Experience with ERP systems, ticketing platforms, or endpoint management tools
Exposure to Active Directory or Azure Active Directory
Knowledge of IT asset management and device lifecycle practices

Preferred

Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Industry certifications are a plus, including CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
Industry certifications are a plus, including Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
Industry certifications are a plus, including Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
