Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end development and execution of our flagship summits, as well as our rolling calendar of smaller events
Ensure white-glove service for all attendees, sponsors and presenters of the events, coordinating all key logistical details to the community
Design environments that go beyond "networking" to foster genuine relationships among marketing leaders, building memorable moments and valuable experiences for the communities
Manage and take ownership of the experiential P&L and budget
Manage vendors and ensure we’re delivering for both the business, our members, and our partners
Lead the development of and oversee sponsorship opportunities and ensure partner experience and execution meets expectations and adds value to the overall event
Work closely with Seth and partner with the Vox Media Podcast Network (VMPN) sales and production teams to ensure a seamless brand experience
Build and manage a team that aligns to the overall goals and trajectory of the business
Qualification
Required
8+ years in high-end event production or executive community building
Experience managing complex P&Ls and complex logistics
A 'builder' mindset—you like getting your hands dirty and creating things from scratch and are comfortable that no job is too small when it comes to ensuring an optimal experience
Someone who understands 'prestige' and knows how to deliver a high-end experience without it feeling corporate or stiff
Preferred
This job remote but New York City or Los Angeles are preferred
