They are seeking an OSP Field Installation and Repair Technician Level 1 to install, troubleshoot, and repair Fiber to The Home (FTTH) services while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities
Provide a high level of customer service while also educating customers on the use of products and services
Install, troubleshoot, and repair services for Fiber To The Home (FTTH) customers
Complete installs for new services and equipment for customers by installing fiber drops, network interface devices, in-home wiring, and wireless routers in accordance with company standards
Recognize and understand how to configure the customer's equipment to connect to the Internet via modem/wireless router
Connects home units to outside lines; runs or installs new lines as needed
Configures and installs FTTH Internet devices
Troubleshoot customer’s home network to isolate and resolve service-related issues
Demonstrates and teaches customers how to use installed hardware & service
Maintains inventory of supplies on trucks and requisitions necessary supplies
Completes in detail all required Outside Plant related forms and reports
Adheres to all safety protocols, guidelines, and checklists
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
