Responsibilities
Lead and manage activities across multiple utility projects, owning results related to cost, methods, timelines, and outcomes
Direct the full lifecycle of assigned projects: scoping, planning, design, permitting, easement acquisition, civil & electrical construction, and project close‑out
Engage directly in both high‑level strategy and hands‑on project coordination to ensure milestones are achieved
Define project objectives, schedules, deliverables, and risk assessments in collaboration with stakeholders
Utilize project controls for budget and schedule management, variance analysis, cost forecasting, trend identification, and performance tracking
Maintain detailed project schedules and plans while ensuring alignment with portfolio requirements
Resolve issues efficiently by setting priorities and working closely with team members and functional leaders
Serve as a central liaison across engineering, construction, permitting, and operational teams
Demonstrate strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to quickly learn new processes and tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of project management experience
Utility industry experience required (electric utility preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Proficiency with Microsoft Project
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
Proficiency with SAP
Proficiency with Primavera P6
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
