The State of Ohio's Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) is seeking a college intern in the Communications Division. The position focuses on assisting the Communications team with website content development, ADA accessibility maintenance, and utilizing web analytics tools for reporting site usage.

Learn & assist the Communications team with website content development and maintenance
Use of tools to check for and maintain ADA accessibility for website content and documents (e.g. PDFs, Excel sheets, etc.)
Use of web analytics tools, such as PiWik and Acquia, to report on site usage and health
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited degree program
Relevant majors include computer science, communication technology, strategic communication, public relations, and journalism
Verifiable experience managing website content within a content management system, including working with legacy formats such as HTML
Preferred
Preferred experience using web analytics tools to measure website traffic
Preferred experience writing in Associated Press style
