Resource Allocation Coordinator

The Resource Allocation Coordinator (RAC) is responsible for monitoring and managing work queues to ensure accurate prioritization, scheduling, and assignment of labor tickets in line with client requirements and contractual SLAs.

Responsibilities
Monitor work queues for jobs in jeopardy, escalations, exceptions, and incoming scheduling requests; take immediate action to meet ETA/SLA requirements
Collaborate with Resource Allocation Specialists to achieve departmental and operational goals
Communicate scheduling status, delays, or rescheduling needs to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
Track technician locations, parts availability, and resource capacity to ensure efficient routing and utilization
Escalate resource constraints and scheduling risks according to established processes
Assign 1099 contractors and partner resources to prevent rescheduling and maintain SLA compliance
Utilize online sourcing platforms to secure independent resources when required
Maintain next-day schedules to minimize client impact
Coordinate parts delivery and transfers to meet SLA commitments
Provide phone support to field technicians, partners, and select clients through assigned queues
Perform administrative tasks related to automated work assignment, availability, shift changes, and travel
Use scheduling and routing tools concurrently (ARS, InsidEdge, sourcing platforms, mapping software)
Participate in company quality programs
Perform additional duties as assigned
Monitor client portals and online platforms to increase technician utilization in low-volume markets
Monitor vendor queues for low lead-time ticket scheduling
Monitor international work queues requiring immediate attention
Respond to partner and contractor inquiries, including flagged jobs and platform messages
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma (or equivalent) with prior related work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel
Strong PC, internet, and Windows-based application skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Proven ability to multitask with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, punctual, and reliable
Preferred
Telecommunications industry background
Post-secondary education or training
Dispatch or workforce coordination experience
Experience with mapping software and workforce support tools
Knowledge of Cisco Finesse phone systems and queues
Customer service experience
Understanding of contractual SLA commitments
