Event Coordinator
Caine & Weiner is seeking an Event Coordinator to work for their Barr & Credit Services Company. The role involves providing clerical support and coordinating various events, including planning logistics and managing attendee communications.

Responsibilities
Assisting with special projects, such as process improvements and budget development
Coordinates credit group events annually including event planning (i.e. securing venue, hotel block, food, attendee registration, special events/outings) and any meeting preparation (meeting material i.e. reports, packets, emails, nametags etc.)
Coordinates multi day events annually for all credit group attendees including pre-event communications, attendee registration and meeting material preparation
Keep rosters up to date. New members follow through with welcome email, phone call, training
Assist CGA prospecting new members and keeping Pipedrive up to date
Assist with marketing needs
Assist finding and engaging educational speakers for events and apply for CEU's
Order office supplies as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have a H.S diploma or GED
Must have at least 2-3 years administrative experience, event planning experience and coordination of events is preferred
Knowledge of and the ability to independently operate standard office equipment
Skill using MS Office and ability to learn debt collection related applications/software
Must have the ability to perform basic math skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages
Using the English language, ability to read and comprehend written concepts, write business appropriate documents using correct grammar, speak so others understand, hear and understand others speaking
Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as a team member
Ability to take, follow and provide direction
Ability to effectively communicate with staff to promote training and increased job knowledge
Ability to understand and comply with company policies and procedures
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to establish and juggle multiple and sometimes competing priorities
Ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions within the scope of the job
Must be able to remain in a stationary position greater than 75% of the workday
Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, and attend meetings
Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as computer printer, office phone, and copy machine
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position frequently/constantly communicates with clients/debtors/vendors via email and phone
Must be able to endure repetitive movement of hands and fingers — typing and/or writing
Must have the ability to see details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer)
Must have the ability to speak clearly so others can understand, to hear and understand the speech of another person and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
Must have the ability to occasionally and independently travel around Kansas City
