Retention Marketing Associate Director

They are seeking a hands-on Retention Marketing Associate Director to manage lifecycle and retention marketing for a portfolio of Shopify-driven e-commerce brands and B2B businesses, focusing on driving measurable retention revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Directly manage retention strategy and execution for multiple client accounts
Oversee and support other retention managers to ensure consistency in performance and best practices
Review lifecycle programs across accounts and identify opportunities for improvement
Own retention KPIs across your portfolio
Build, optimize, and maintain automation flows in platforms such as Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
Execute campaigns end-to-end including segmentation, QA, scheduling, deployment, and reporting
Audit and restructure underperforming CRM accounts
Troubleshoot integration, deliverability, and tracking issues
Ensure accurate data flow between Shopify, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
Develop lifecycle strategies within Shopify ecosystems
Build high-performing flows including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, loyalty, cross-sell, and reactivation sequences
Align retention initiatives with paid media and promotional strategy to support blended performance goals
Build and optimize nurture sequences aligned with pipeline stages
Support lead qualification, re-engagement, and client retention workflows
Collaborate with sales teams to improve lifecycle communication and CRM utilization
Conduct A/B testing across subject lines, messaging, offers, and segmentation
Analyze retention performance using cohort and revenue data
Provide regular reporting on LTV, repeat purchase rate, churn, and retention revenue contribution
Identify scalable automation opportunities across accounts
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in lifecycle and retention marketing
Experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency or multi-brand environment
Hands-on experience building and optimizing complex flows in Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Attentive, or similar platforms
Proven ability to grow retention revenue for Shopify-based e-commerce brands
Working knowledge of B2B CRM lifecycle and nurture strategy
Strong analytical mindset with ability to tie retention efforts to revenue performance
Some experience mentoring or overseeing junior team members
Must be located in Miami, FL
