Responsibilities

Manage BMS/BAS(Building Management System/Building Automation Systems) specification, design, and operation. Develop and implement multiyear strategy to complete BMS migration. Collaborate with HDMA Facilities controls leaders to standardize a unified approach. Manage and oversee programming and work with IT networking team
Support operation of Facilities mechanical and electrical systems including but not limited to centrifugal fans, burners, cooling/heating coils, pumps, centrifugal air compressors, centrifugal chillers, heat exchangers, utilities, metering, communications. Manage and maintain documentation for the site Mechanical Systems. Communicate critical updates to site system operators
Implement new engineering strategies and technologies to replace facilities equipment and systems at their end of life (EOL)
Lead meetings and negotiate with customers and contractors of all levels and capabilities. Build mutually beneficial relationships with customers and contractors

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (in Mechanical, Controls or Electrical) or equivalent related controls experience
Use knowledge and experience to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of tasks within area of expertise
Actively support / participate in project team activities related to significant business innovation; develop and execute activities/tasks to achieve the objectives of the business team
Demonstrate solid base of technical knowledge in day-to-day operations
Willingness to travel for department reviews and business planning events at other HDMA facilities
50% Manufacturing/Production Environment including construction site locations, 50% office/desk environment
Work all appropriate overtime/weekends/shutdowns to manage projects and cover production needs

Preferred

2+ years of relevant working experience in a Controls/Project Management/Facilities Capacity preferred
2+ years working experience with control systems architecture and programming preferred
