Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and edit prebills using Aderant and Prebill Viewer based on attorney requests
Generate a high volume of complex client invoices
Ensure invoices comply with client billing guidelines and include all required supporting documentation
Submit electronic invoices through an e-billing hub and related platforms
Monitor invoice rejections, reductions, and appeal requirements, and resolve issues promptly
Respond to billing-related inquiries from attorneys and internal teams
Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently and within a team
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Proven ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of an organization
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in legal billing
Strong Excel skills required
Preferred
Experience with Aderant or Elite/3E preferred
Familiarity with Prebill Viewer, e-billing platforms, and Bill Blast
