Responsibilities
Ensure project objectives are achievable and aligned with organizational goals
Provide strategic guidance to engineering teams on risk assessments, alternative analyses, and conceptual designs for executive review
Oversee and administer EPC contracts in compliance with governance standards
Negotiate third‑party agreements to support cross‑departmental initiatives
Champion company‑wide best practices and process improvements
Deliver presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders
Resolve conflicts and facilitate collaboration across project teams
Mentor and coach junior project managers to build organizational capability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or related discipline
8+ years of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, or construction (9+ years for external candidates)
Active PMP certification from PMI
Preferred
Strong understanding of electric operations project lifecycles and cross‑functional team roles
Proficiency in Excel and project management tools such as SAP Financials, Work Management modules, and Microsoft Project
Experience with electric substations, gas, and electric distribution and transmission projects
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
Ability to lead meetings effectively and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders
