Responsibilities
Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
Interacts professionally and timely with clients via email and phone
Prepares RFPs for all fully insured submissions to market with Account Executive guidance
Collects and manages proposals
Updates marketing results into spreadsheets to be reviewed by Account Executive
Requests renewals for all lines of coverage
Responsibility to ensure target renewal release dates are met by carriers
Conducts initial review of all fully insured lines of coverage in preparation for Account Executive review
Takes direction from Account Executive in all negotiations with carriers
Builds relationship with carrier and vendor partners
Manages outsourcing and ensures reporting needs are met
Updates monthly claims report for clients
Maintains & utilizes appropriate systems for job functions as determined by department
Qualification
Required
Up to 2 years of similar or related experience
proficient with MS Office Suites with intermediate skills
Attains Life and Health license & maintains through continuing education requirements
Limited travel required (less than 25%)
Analyzes and interprets data
Effectively manages multiple projects while meeting timelines
Handles confidential information with tact and discretion
Possesses excellent organizational and reasoning skills
Preferred
college graduate, 2-year degree or equivalent experience
