This role focuses on cloud security architecture, identity & access management, and hands-on software engineering, working closely with various engineering teams to design and implement secure cloud-native systems.

Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud security architectures across AWS/GCP/Azure environments
Build and enhance IAM, authentication, authorization, and Zero Trust solutions
Partner with engineering teams to embed security into distributed systems and platforms
Develop and review secure, production-grade code (Go, Java, Python, C/C++ depending on platform)
Support Kubernetes and containerized workloads with security best practices
Drive alignment with security standards and frameworks (NIST, FIPS, PCI, etc.)
Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering leadership
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or security architecture
Strong experience with IAM technologies (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, MFA, Zero Trust concepts)
Hands-on background in software engineering (not policy-only or GRC-focused)
Experience securing distributed systems, cloud platforms, or SaaS products
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures
Ability to clearly communicate complex security concepts to engineers
Expertise in DevOps toolchains (CI/CD, Ansible, GitLab CI, etc.)
Preferred
Experience with FIPS, FedRAMP, or regulated environments
Prior work on security platforms, identity products, or infrastructure tooling
Background in large-scale enterprise or high-growth tech environments
