Required
Bilingual fluency
Medical records experience in a healthcare setting (preferably transplant or specialty care)
Strong EMR experience (ability to request, obtain, upload, and index records accurately)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (patient-facing and clinical-facing)
Strong customer service skills, including phone and in-person patient interaction
Ability to manage urgent requests and escalate time-sensitive clinical issues appropriately
Analytical skills to review patient charts, physician notes, and testing documentation
Attention to detail to ensure records are placed correctly and compliantly in the EMR
Ability to problem-solve in real time and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to learn hospital and transplant IT systems quickly
Experience coordinating across teams (clinical, scheduling, quality, vendors, outside facilities)
HIPAA compliance awareness and handling of protected health information
Transplant program experience
Medical terminology knowledge
Experience with patient education materials and consent validation
