Insight Global is seeking a Calibration Supervisor who will ensure precision, compliance, and technical excellence in the calibration of RF and electrical instrumentation. The role involves supervising technicians and conducting certified calibrations in an accredited ISO/IEC 17025 environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct certified calibrations following established procedures and uncertainty requirements

Apply strong manual calibration knowledge and the technical understanding behind each step

Supervise daily operations in the Electrical/RF Lab

Train, mentor, and support technicians

Ensure strict compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and NIST traceability

Perform and oversee calibration of RF/Microwave equipment including:

Signal Generators

Spectrum Analyzers

Power Meters

Calibrate electronic instruments such as:

Digital Multimeters

Oscilloscopes

Hipot Testers

Review calibration reports for accuracy, traceability, and proper documentation

Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement

Maintain compliance in a high precision, accredited lab environment

Qualification

Required

5+ years of hands on Electrical and RF calibration experience

Experience calibrating multiple RF devices weekly in a high volume lab environment

Ability to clearly explain calibration theory and methodology

ISO/IEC 17025

Extensive experience calibrating RF instruments (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters)

Ability to perform certified calibrations (not pre use checks or basic functional tests)

Preferred

Military calibration experience (PMEL, TMDE, NAVSEA, DOD)

Experience in aerospace, medical device, EMC testing, or other precision driven industries

Prior supervisory or lead technician experience
