Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of test engineers and test engineering technicians
Coordinate testing activities across multiple lines and projects
Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones to meet customer requirements
Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Oversee the creation and maintenance of test documentation including test cases, scripts, and reports
Continue improving preventative maintenance plan for testing systems
Optimize frequency of maintenance on systems by analyzing downtime and yield rates
Manage test environments and tools
Design and implement new testing capabilities based on new technology
Participate or lead defect reduction activities to reduce defect cost, improve testing capability, and optimize test reliability by evaluating CPK data
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field of study
60 months (5 years) of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Test Engineering Manager, Test Development Engineer, or Test Development Group Leader in the automotive components manufacturing industry
Experience managing test engineering team
