Responsibilities

Lead and manage Network Operations and Dispatch teams, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management
Ensure all direct reports understand and apply customer service standards and company commitments in daily operations
Coordinate between all departments represented in the OCC to ensure safe, legal, and efficient day-of operations, minimizing schedule disruptions and customer impact
Responsible for efficient, compliant routing of company aircraft and crews
Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, training programs, and emergency protocols utilized within the OCC
Act as the primary director of the Emergency Command Center and Weather Command Center, on an as-needed basis
Manage department resources, systems, and facilities to support successful airline operations, including flight planning, weather, NOTAM, and communication systems
Monitor and improve on-time performance through data analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee customer communication and ensure effective information flow between operating groups and external customers
Liaise with internal stakeholders (revenue, planning, station operations, finance) and external partners (vendors, regulatory agencies) to support OCC functions
Prepare and manage departmental budgets and ensure cost control
Promote a safe operating environment and compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations
Accountable to the 14 CFR Part 119 Director of Operations for all operational functions related to the Code of Federal Regulations
Develop and foster a positive organizational culture aligned with company objectives

Required

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered
Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
Must pass a Criminal Background Check
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum ten (10) years' experience in an airline industry management role or equivalent
Minimum five (5) years' of management experience in an OCC environment preferred

Preferred

In-depth knowledge of flight planning systems and economics
Experience implementing and managing a fuel conservation program
In-depth knowledge of Air Traffic Control agencies including both tower and TRACON
Sound computer skills in MS Office
Proven organizational skills in a high pressure environment
Professional manner who can liaise at all levels
