Responsibilities
Plan and execute risk-based operational audits across core business functions
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and risk management practices
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and control design
Develop clear audit reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to leadership
Own the annual audit plan and enterprise risk assessment
Manage and mentor audit staff and/or co-sourced partners
Track remediation efforts and follow up on corrective actions
Serve as a trusted advisor on major initiatives, including system implementations and acquisitions
Communicate audit results and risk themes to executive leadership and the Audit Committee
Coordinate with external auditors as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
10+ years of internal or operational audit experience
Proven leadership experience
Strong background in operational audit beyond SOX
Professional certification required (CPA)
