Technical Lead
Cayuse Holdings is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the technical aspects of projects and manage development teams. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet organizational and client-specific requirements while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Finance
Responsibilities
Provide direction and technical guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Lead system architecture design, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of technology solutions
Analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into effective and innovative technical designs
Oversee the development and implementation of technical frameworks, prototypes, and systems integrations
Ensure solutions are aligned with organizational objectives and project goals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure smooth technical delivery
Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement
Ensure all deliverables meet quality assurance requirements, including functionality, performance, and security
Promote the use of modern tools and techniques to optimize productivity and effectiveness
Proactively identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and issues to reduce project delays
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, define technical objectives, and communicate progress
Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business stakeholder expectations
Research emerging technologies and recommend adoption of tools and practices to improve efficiency
Stay updated on trends in technology and ensure technical deliverables remain cutting-edge

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's-level degree from a recognized college or university in an IT-related or Engineering field. Alternatively, qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
If no degree is obtained, 9 years of experience is required
A minimum of five (5) years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity
A minimum of three (3) years of progressively complex experience and intermediate-level skill in analysis, design, programming, and testing
A minimum of two (2) years of experience developing, testing or maintaining large management information applications
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner
Strong customer service skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail
Ability to analyze systems and procedures
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort
Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Preferred
Master's degree or doctorate from a recognized college or university
Six (6) or more years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. Four (4) or more years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity
Four (4) or more years of progressively complex experience and intermediate-level skill in analysis, design, programming, and testing
Three (3) or more years of experience developing, testing or maintaining large management information applications
