Responsibilities

Create written and oral briefings for Peer Review Panels (Panels) in PRS proceedings, and detailed Panels’ reports destined to the PRS decision-maker
Advise Panels on financial compensation or other relief for the aggrieved staff member, where applicable
Summarize the Panels’ lessons learned for the attention of World Bank Group senior management
Manage PRS cases in line with PRS Key Performance Indicators
Ensure that Peer Review proceedings always remain fair and impartial
Communicate with parties and Panels in an impartial and culturally sensitive manner
Assist on special initiatives/projects and undertake other ad hoc assignments

Required

Master's degree in law or Juris Doctor (JD), or equivalent
Current license of admission to the Bar of at least one World Bank Group member country
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of two (2) years' experience working in a peer review secretariat, appeals committee, or grievance committee of a multilateral development bank or international organization in a similar position with progressively increasing responsibilities
Detail-oriented with solid, hands-on experience in employment disputes within a multilateral development organization
Ability to deliver high quality work product that is timely, with the highest level of professionalism and cultural sensitivity, in a confidential environment
