Associate Account Executive

Responsibilities

Own a pipeline of SMB and Mid-Market SaaS opportunities from discovery to close
Prospect into target accounts using outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn
Qualify inbound and outbound leads using defined criteria (BANT or MEDDICC-light)
Run discovery calls and product demos tailored to customer use cases
Manage follow-ups, objections, pricing conversations, and contract execution
Close low-complexity deals independently while partnering with Sales Leader on larger opportunities
Accurately track pipeline activity, deal stages, and forecasts in the CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and onboarding
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Qualification

Required

1–5 years of experience in SaaS sales (BDR/SDR and/or AE preferred)
Demonstrated interest in closing deals, not just lead generation
Strong discovery, communication, and objection-handling skills
Competitive, goal-driven mindset with high accountability
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environment
Experience using a CRM and sales engagement tools

Preferred

Prior experience in SaaS, tech, or B2B sales
Experience with outbound prospecting tools (Salesloft, MixMax, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Apollo, etc.)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
