Responsibilities
Lead architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards
Understand, plan, track, and deliver projects with a clear grasp of client requirements, proposals, contracts, and scope
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction
Collaborate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction and other authorities to support project progression and community impact
Coordinate with consultants and review/redline drawings for quality assurance at key milestones (30%, 60%, 90%)
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Construction Documents and Construction Administration
Identify potential risks early and develop strategic solutions
Tackle complex technical and design challenges with depth of knowledge and strategic insight
Maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and schedules
Uphold DC Standards, brand submittal guidelines, building codes, and zoning regulations
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of architectural experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture
Experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with Revit & Bluebeam
Preferred
Architect license is preferred
