Expedite Talent Solutions is seeking a Validation Engineer with strong embedded systems and automotive ECU experience. The role involves performing software flashing, coding, validation, and troubleshooting for series vehicles and telematics systems to ensure they meet full release conformity and functional readiness.

Responsibilities
Perform full vehicle and telematics ECU updates (flashing, coding, activation)
Execute E2E, FROP, regression, and exploratory tests across various vehicle models
Create, update, and execute test cases in STARC/JIRA
Analyze logs using DTS Monaco, VAM, and related diagnostic tools
Perform test drives, validate preconditions, and manage test environments
Execute smoke tests for infotainment, connectivity, powertrain, and body functions
Diagnose and resolve TCU/connectivity issues (flashing, connectivity, and data link issues)
Maintain zero unknown DTCs and ensure backend service availability
Document HW/SW changes and track updates in JIRA
Qualification
Required
3–8+ years of strong embedded systems and automotive ECU experience
Experience in automotive domain
Testing experience in vehicle telematics and end2end connected services
Hands on use of diagnostic tools: DTS Monaco/DTS9, TUT, WIN SCP, VAM, Diagnostic Portal, etc
Experience with Jira, XRAY, or similar issue tracking tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret vehicle release configurations
Valid U.S. driver's license
Ability to run tests in bench and in vehicle (stationary/driving)
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Embedded Systems, or equivalent technical field
