Responsibilities

Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
Review, code, and enter vendor invoices in accordance with company policies
Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, receipt) when applicable
Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
Ensure proper approvals and compliance with internal controls
Maintain vendor master files and support 1099 reporting as needed
Assist with month-end close activities related to AP
Support system implementations, conversions, and process improvements
Collaborate with internal accounting teams and external vendors

Qualification

Required

2+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
Strong knowledge of AP processes and internal controls
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables preferred)
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to adapt quickly in new environments and client settings
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Prior experience in a consulting, project-based, or contract environment
Exposure to high-volume or multi-entity AP environments
Experience supporting audits or process clean-up projects
