Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain production-level front-end interfaces for internal and customer-facing software
Implement UI/UX updates using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a high standard of quality and consistency
Work closely with graphic designers and product stakeholders to enhance user experience, layout, and visual flow
Translate wireframes, mockups, and design systems into clean, maintainable front-end code
Take ownership of UI improvements and refinements across software platforms
Ensure responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Identify and resolve front-end bugs, layout issues, and performance concerns
Collaborate with back-end systems, including environments involving Java-based applications
Maintain consistency with branding, typography, spacing, and component usage
Participate in testing, QA, and release validation for UI changes
Contribute to improving front-end standards, patterns, and documentation
Qualification
Required
Proficient in HTML and CSS (able to build layouts without heavy reliance on templates)
Strong working knowledge of JavaScript for interactive UI elements
Experience implementing responsive and modern UI patterns
Working knowledge of Java or experience integrating front-end components with Java-based systems
Ability to confidently translate designs into finished UI without constant oversight
Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy
Comfortable working in a collaborative, in-office environment
Preferred
Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred but not required
Bootcamp graduates or self-taught developers with real-world, production-quality experience encouraged to apply
Portfolio or examples of live UI work strongly preferred
